La Jolla, California….a.k.a. the Jewel. It’s one of the most beautiful beach towns in the world. It is where Burger Lounge got started in 2007 and continues to be one of our favorite places. The Village is our homeland and it’s always a great place to visit any time of year.

An affluent beach resort island city and home to the Hotel Del Coronado, this small community is peaceful, beautiful and a great place to hang out for a few days. Burger Lounge opened here in 2008.

Hillcrest is urban, eclectic and generally pretty fun. It is known for its “tolerance and acceptance,” its gender diversity, and numerous locally-owned businesses, including restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, trendy thrift-stores, and other independent specialty stores. Hillcrest has a high population density compared to many other neighborhoods in San Diego and has a large and active lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Horseracing is not the only cool thing about Del Mar. There is more to it than the surf merely meeting turf. It’s nice little town with some cool beaches and good surfing. Home to the annual San Diego Fair, polo grounds and state parks, Del Mar is a perfect place to live and visit.
